Pink Sanstone

As I was sorting out my photos today I came across some photos I took in Chester a few years ago. The sandstone used in some of the old buildings there is a beautiful colour.

I think it had been raining before I took these photos.

Today's sandstone photos are awesome. Since mid-January I have been visiting your blog...or should I say gawking at your blog. Your wonderful photos just blow me away. I have always had a love of photography and your blog is a great place to drool over beautifully taken photos. You certainly know how to kick it into high gear with your stuff.

I love the soft warmth of the stone...the arches...the moss. The photos have great appeal.

Gorgeous photos, Mags. How did the sorting go? This sandstone reminds me of the area round Stoke - lots of things built with it.
