Egyptian sand

My young granddaughter was fortunate enough to have a holiday in Egypt recently and she brought me a lovely gift. A bottle full of sand with Nain(grandmother)written inside it in dark sand.
I used this bottle to create a design, which I imagine is what shelves of these bottles must have looked like in the hot desert sun and the very blue sky.
