Yesterday's journey through the mountains


As you can see it's still wintry in Snowdonia. That is Snowdon with a covering of snow in the back. This was taken from Llyn Mymbyr.



Another one of a wintry Snowdon. This was taken from above Llyn Gwynant. Did you notice those fields and sheep folds at the bottom of that photo? I took another one close up.

I've just been reading "I bought a Mountain" about a guy who bought a hill farm in Snowdonia in the 1930s, so found your photos interesting.

Hi Shirley. Yes this is the exact spot in the top photo. It was a lady called Esme Firbanks who wrote the book and she was my piano teacher's friend. I'll post a photo I took of the hillside where her farm was.
