Get well Dawn

I was lucky enough to have a gentleman sharing my table with me at the Guild workshops at the weekend. He was Barry who has been a member of the Embroiderers' Guild for 7 years and his was wife was chairman of our Guild until recently.
He was very efficient and logical in the way he worked.
Not only that, he was very kind-hearted.
Why do I mention that? Well he spent part of the day collating pieces of recently dyed material, bits of machine embroidery and hand embroidery collected from everyone present at the course. He made a get well card for Dawn, a member of the Guild, well thought of by us all and who should have been with us, but is in hospital receiving chemotherapy.

Barry collected all our signatures for the card. Didn't he make a brilliant job of it?

During the day one of the other members was taken ill. Who do you think volunteered to take her home? Barry and his wife. A very caring couple.

That is just lovely and how warming of you to mention their kindness. Too often these generous, kind things people do go on without credit. Thank yo for sharing
