Willow sculpture

The top photo shows the sculpture on the front at Rhos on Sea, North Wales a few weeks ago. Below is the latest one taken last Sunday, unfortunately the fisherman has lost half his rod by now. I suppose it was quite a temptation! Sue of The Magic Armchair Traveller reminded me of it when she posted a photo of the Willow Cat her husband made for their garden.

I do love 3 dimesional willow sculptures. We are very lucky in the West Country to have many local artists who work with withies. The school students love them...just have to be careful of poking eyes out. Thanks for sharing.
You will have to give us a map of Wales next, so we know where to find all these delightful spots you are introducing us to.
