Chester

I noticed these lovely little carved figures on an old building in Chester. They could all do with a coat of paint, but I can still read the quotes under the one below. (click for a larger image)

The left one says "The profit of the earth is for all" and the one on the right says "The King himself is served of the field"

Tomorrow and Sunday I'm going on a course to Bodelwyddan Castle and hopefully I shall have some textile work to show.

Ah ha! Another mystery!! Now let me think... are these on Pepper Street next to the wall? Don't tell me!!! I will go searching next time I'm there. Thanks! I love Chester and you're making me notice things more.

I've just looked more closely at the photos and I think they're definitely on one of the rows...!
