The estuary at night

Here is the full image that the last piece of work was based on. (It's worth a click to see the larger image)

This quiltie arrived this morning from Pat O'neill. It is beautifully made and the little girl is so angelic isn't she? It came wrapped in that lovely fabric tied with the ribbon.

That is a fabulous photo. Is it a hawthorn bush ?
I love the castle photo too. I think your interpretation of the scene looks great; the colours suggested are just right. I think it could benefit from just a couple more fabric leaves in the top left over the blue background...that would help some of the leaves to recede and the fabric ones come forward( only my opinion ). I do enjoy seeing photos of things we don't have like castles and really old buildings and structures. You have a fabulous outlook to view at different times of the day ( and night ) and changing seasons.
Best Wishes, Ali.

What a wonderful photograph and I love the way you have framed the view with the little branches of the shrub. I think you are doing a great job of interpreting it. The quiltie is delightful.

I love the wonderfully moody colours in your photo.
