SerenTex

Here is tonight's sunset. (I think it's worth a click to enlarge)

This is what we did at SerenTex today amongst other things. I carried on with mine at home this evening. Would you believe I have never done any weaving before now as I just haven't had an excuse to try it until today even though I've wanted to have a go?

Kath sent me this Bookmark in the style of Margaret Beale, which is ideal for the purpose and is a really lovely and simple design.

This is my 'fast and furious' bag. I needed a navy bag, so I decided to make one using dark navy linen and curved pieces of felt made with the embellisher.

I love your weaving piece. It looks like the colors of the sunset which is gorgeous by the way. For not having done any weaving, it looks like you're getting along famously!

Glorious sunset Mags - I love the way the last sunrays have picked up highlights here and there. Your weaving is lovely - super textures - and the bookmark is beautiful. That bag is very stylish too, light to carry yet very roomy and so good to look at.

What a beautiful sunset Margaret. I think we will have to come back the weather since we've been homw has been awful!

The weaving is lovely. I am intrigued by the colour changes along the rows. No doubt it's easier than it looks. Lovely colours btw and a very useful bag.

Bon voyage for tomorrow :o)

Great piece of weaving Mags you reminded me that we did something similar in c&G. Maybe I'll try it again sometime.
