View

I'm very sorry I couldn't let you know that I've had to stop blogging for a very short time, but I hope to add a few posts when I'm up to it.

This is not a moan. You can see what a lovely view I have from my bed to cheer me up. I just have a recurring back problem after an accident 40 years ago which surfaces now and then and unfortunately it's happened now. Not very good timing perhaps, but I'm going to catch up on some reading and knitting which I can still do lying on my back here. Sitting is rather painful for me just now.

I do hope to be able to drop in for a short time here and there.

Thank you all for being such faithful and kind followers all this time. I have just noticed that I have nearly reached my 200,000th pageloads and I nearly missed it. As soon as I able to go up my loft ladder and into my workroom I will be making a load of postcard to send to some of you.

Poor you! I do hope you're better by next week and can enjoy Christmas. If not, then I hope you have lots of folk giving you some TLC.
With all best wishes for a speedy recovery and a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year!

Didn't you get any snow yet? I can send you some if you like!

Hope your back is better soon Mags. You look like you have escaped the snow - I think you should keep resting your back in the warmth - the cold weather would not doubt make it worse. Great view!

So sorry to hear you have a back problem Mags and that you are confined to your bed. As you say, you have a wonderful view to enjoy - I could look at it happily every day too. I do hope that by next week you will be able to enjoy a pain free Christmas - do take care. Best wishes.

Mags, you have put a very positive spin on what must be a lot of pain, get well soon.
(An osteopath wouldn't help? I'm off to one today for my neck and shoulders, too much hunching over the computer)

Hi Mags
I do hope you're feeling better now. Nothing worse than a bad back - especially at Christmas! Hope you're able to enjoy yourself anyway. Best wishes, Ann D
