Embellisher background

This week I need to use some of the fabrics I’ve made using the embellisher as a background for stitching.

P1090061

Here is one I made today. I don’t normally do this sort of work, but I really enjoyed it. It started off just as a design but as it grew it took on a life of it’s own. Can you see trees, flowers and buildings?

Yes, I can and I love the colours. Such rich warm vibrant (Autumn) colours. Beautiful work Margaret. Feel like getting my embellisher out again

It's lovely Mags - such happy colours and gorgeous textures. I can't wait to have time to play with my embellisher but my latest project wont leave me alone!

Yes, they're all there Mags. I've been reminded about my embellisher by a workshop with Janice Gunner and now your lively piece is telling me I really must have a play. You've given me an idea for something to take on holiday for a bit of handsewing.

Does it say anything about me if I can see a face?!

Making your own fabric on the embellisher is such fun isn't it...and addictive ;-)

Thanks for your good wishes on my blog...I hope it works....eventually...

Lush colors. I see the building with the landscape in front of them. I like to stitch on the felted pieces but also wonder what to do with them.

Thanks for the comment you left but you beat me to it. I was going to mail you to let you know that I'd linked to your blog - I wasn't sure whether people still ask permission any more, but you found the link before I could get back to the PC. (A little washing machine event got in the way!) How did you manage that?
