Another Beginning

Another Beginning
Once again I’m having a go at Blogging. Since my husband passed away 2 years ago I have found it difficult to create anything. I have done a few things, but had to force myself to do them. At last I think I am ready to start creating again.

My workroom has always been the loft.

I think it will make it easier for me if I work downstairs now and I’ve converted a bedroom into a workroom and shelves have been added to my fitted wardrobe. I've bought two collapsible tables which I love. This will be called The office because my proper workroom will still be in the loft.

I have made a start, but have also been playing in it before sorting and carrying things in. I will try and blog things as they develop and hopefully tomorrow share a few things that I’ve been doing here.

Lovely to see your post, and your new 'Office'. Hopefully you will feel more inspired there. And it looks as if you are doing some lovely gelatin printing, always fun. A thought: I've taken lots of on line classes with Linda Germain and find her classes very inspiring. During each class she gives you a small post/task every day so it's very do-able and keeps you engaged. It translates perfectly into fabric work as well. Sometimes I find her format is just what I need to keep working and engaged. I wish you all the very best as you find your way back from your loss.

How nice to have you back, but I am so sorry to hear about your husband though I did read on a much earlier post that he had been very ill. I am not surprised it has taken you some time to feel creative once more and hope you will enjoy being able to make lovely things again. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to and loving the look of your work space.

Thanks Marny. I'll have a look.
I must admit to have tried online classes during the last year and have given up after one or two. But I think now is the right time.

i'm so sorry you had trouble with the comment D. I had it set to Moderate because I had a lot of Spam at one time. I've now changed it so you can see it.

Love your new office, here's to many creative hours there. I saw one of those tables at Glenthorne, now on my wish list!

Looking wonderful. It must be lovely to be able to just walk in and not have to climb that ladder!
