SerenTex Project

This image has been stitched on the computer so that we could have some idea of how it would look. It will definitely not be framed like this, but I thought it would be fun to see what it looked like. there was one missing piece of the jigsaw and i used the same image twice to fill the space.
There will be more to see on the SerenTex blog later tonight hopefully.

Our meeting this week was a very busy one. We all sat around the table finishing off our work for the Snowdonia Project. Miriam provided us all with strong card cut to 10"x8" and some calico, we then proceeded to lace our fabric over card and covered it with the calico.

This finished piece of work will be on display at the North Wales Embroiderers' Guild's EXHIBITION OF WORK to be held at the RHOS ON SEA METHODIST CHURCH HALL, Rhos Road, Rhos on Sea on Friday November 2nd and Saturday November 3rd from 10 am to 5.30 pm.
The entrance fee is £2.00 to include the programme. there will be demonstrations throughout the day, sales table and refreshments. Please come and introduce yourselves if you pay us a visit.

Well done! It's a wonderful work of art and I think it's great that you have all decided to stitch it together. I so enjoyed looking at the individual pieces over at the other blog.
