Still painting

Here she is again and I'm becoming quite fond of her now. i should have called the 'Cockerel' a 'Rooster'. It sounds much more dignified I think. As my first language is Welsh I hadn't realized there was a difference until I asked one of my sons. This Rooster had a bevy of hens around him when I took these photos but I think this one seemed to be his favorite.

This is what thee estuary look like tonight and the weather forecast is not good either. Painting weather for a couple of days perhaps?

I like this one of her a lot Mags, just coming into view like that is a most interesting way to paint her. We'd call them all chooks!

Love your hen painting - looking forward to more, and I think you'll have plenty of time for art in the next couple of days. Very strong winds here this morning but not much rain so far. I hope it isn't waiting for me to go out.

Thanks Sue. I've been painting the Rooster's back feathers this morning and it's fascinating. I love chooks. :)

Thanks HHeaher. I hope you didn't get wet! It wasn't all that bad here after all and I was out all day.
