Work in progress

If you look carefully at this work it has 2001 written stitched on it, 17 years ago and it's almost finished. All that needs doing is stitch it together. It's an A4 size folder to hold the sketches I made at Plas Tan y Bwlch. It opens in the centre and is inspired by a wall at Plas with moss and fern growing in between the stones.
These two pieces are to be stitched inside the top two and I've used a favourite design of mine that can be seen here and there in the house. I believe it has been taken from a book of designs popular at the time the Manor was built and the same design can be seen in Chester too.

The same design has been used here as well. I went up to my loft looking for another almost finished piece of work that I thought could be used for a book page I need for SerenTex. I could not find that one but am pleased to have found this and after 17 years of waiting, it will be finished.

It would be such a shame not to finish such a lovely piece of work. So glad you found it. It's far too good to lanquish in the loft.
